Panelists representing the Syracuse University Libraries, the Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS), Orange SUccess, the Center for Disability Resources and the Dean of Students Office will share information about the academic and personal support that is available to students.

This is Us: Challenges and Opportunities of a Diverse
Student Community

Panelists will provide families with a broad overview of the diversity of Syracuse University (demographics), inclusion (support services and resources), community (ways students can engage one another) and equity (the opportunities the university provides to bridge the gaps of disparity and underrepresentation).

Wednesday, August 12

Critical Issues for College Families

Join us for a panel presentation about critical issues facing today’s college students. Topics include mental health, the Syracuse University Code of Student Conduct, substance use, sexual and relationship violence and hazing. Learn about where students may find support and resources about these issues.

Do you have Orange in your family tree? Celebrate virtually with families from all over the country and the world who share the legacy tradition! Hear from Vice President of Alumni Engagement, Sue Ballard, Forever Orange Student Alumni Council member Salvatore DeDona '22, legacy parent Trevor John '96, and legacy student Taylor John '23. Then test your knowledge of all things Syracuse, and see who does the best in your family with our trivia questions.
