The Syracuse Police Department (SPD) has announced two arrests in connection with one of the recent armed robberies near Syracuse University. The two individuals have been charged with a Sept. 3 robbery along Smith Lane. Both suspects are currently lodged at the Justice Center in downtown Syracuse.

The SPD is continuing to investigate the connection between the two suspects in custody and the other robberies that have occurred in the University area over the past month.
